Lower limb vascular assessment by ultrasound

Common scanner control adjustments:

• Don't make the colour box too large or the image frame rate may be too low.
  
• Optimize the colour pulse repetition frequency so that the peak systolic velocity is in the upper region of the colour scale. Stenoses will be rapidly identified as areas of aliasing.
  
• Ensure the colour wall filter is set correctly.
  
• Align the spectral Doppler angle correction cursor accurately.
