• MRI is best for more diffuse deep lesions.
  
• MRI and ultrasound are complimentary techniques.
  
• Plain films provide useful information in some cases.
  
• A confident diagnosis can be made on imaging in most cases.
  
• Biopsy should only be performed following consultation with the surgeon.
