Alteration in bowel habit

Alteration in bowel habit is a common symptom, and has many causes. Patients are frequently referred for imaging to exclude colorectal carcinoma, and the investigation of this diagnosis is thoroughly discussed in this review, together with other causes of alteration in bowel habit that can be diagnosed radiologically.
