Musculoskeletal radiology II

This is the second musculoskeletal edition in this series of Imaging. The previous edition (Vol. 15 No. 4) that covered primarily the appendicular skeleton is currently available free online at http://imaging.birjournals.org. This current edition covers imaging of the axial skeleton and soft tissue masses. The format and content of Imaging has been designed is to provide the reader with a practical guide to modern imaging. The articles in this edition will guide he reader through the imaging of common clinical scenarios related to the axial skeleton. There is also a chapter on the imaging of soft tissue masses, a picture quiz and MCQ test, the latter attracting potential CME points. This series of Imaging will cover the following major radiology topics: gastrointestinal radiology, neuroradiology, paediatric radiology, genitourinary radiology, musculoskeletal radiology and chest and cardiovascular radiology.
